Authors are required to carefully review the following Terms and Conditions before submitting their manuscripts to Creative Saplings. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms set out below.
Term 1
Submission Policy
- —By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- —The journal does not accept simultaneous submissions. Submitting the same manuscript to another journal while it is under review at Creative Saplings is a breach of publication ethics and will result in immediate rejection.
- —Submissions must align with the journal's aims and scope as outlined on the official website: https://creativesaplings.in/index.php/1/aims-scopes
Term 2
Manuscript Formatting
- —Authors must prepare their final manuscript following the formatting guidelines provided by Creative Saplings. The official author guidelines are available at: https://creativesaplings.in/index.php/1/authors-guidelines
- —Submissions that do not adhere to the prescribed format may be returned for revisions before being considered for editorial review.

Term 3
Copyright and Licensing
- —Authors retain full copyright over their work. Creative Saplings does not claim copyright over published articles.
- —All published works in Creative Saplings are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing others to share and adapt the content for non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution.

Term 4
Permissions and Ethical Compliance
- —Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions for any copyrighted material included in their submission, including images, tables, diagrams, and extensive quotations, before the manuscript is submitted.
- —The journal strictly adheres to ethical publishing practices. Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or redundant publication will not be tolerated and may lead to rejection or retraction of the published work.
- —Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest — financial, institutional, or personal — that could influence the interpretation or outcomes of their work.

Term 5
Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement
- —Authors must ensure that their work is entirely free from plagiarism and copyright violations. All submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software.
- —In the event of copyright infringement, the sole responsibility lies with the author(s). The publisher of Creative Saplings — Society for Academic Facilitation and Extension (Regd.) — shall not be held liable for any such violations.
Term 6
Archiving and Digital Preservation
- —The journal follows open-access policies and allows the archiving of published content under CC BY-NC 4.0 for academic and non-commercial purposes.
- —The journal ensures long-term digital preservation of published articles through archiving in recognised repositories, including LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
Term 7
Publication Ethics and Open Access Policy
- —Creative Saplings follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to maintain high ethical standards in publishing. Full details are available at: http://publicationethics.org/
- —The journal operates on a Diamond Open Access model — no subscription, access, submission, or publication fees are charged to authors or readers at any point.

Editorial Rights and Policy Changes
- —The editorial board reserves the right to make necessary editorial modifications to submitted manuscripts to improve clarity, coherence, and formatting, without altering the scholarly content or the author's intended argument.
- —Creative Saplings reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on the journal website.
Author Agreement
By submitting a manuscript to Creative Saplings, authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed in full to these Terms and Conditions, the Publishing Ethics and Malpractice Declaration, and the Plagiarism Policy.
